A graveside service for David Dwayne Bridges, age 74, of Gainesville will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Coker Cemetery in Bulcher. David was born on February 11, 1948 in Muenster to Tillman Sillis and Gladys Marie (Huggins) Bridges. He married Shirley Ann (Hellums) Bridges on November 20, 1969. He enjoyed riding horses and mules and making spurs and bits by hand. He passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 in Denison. He is survived by his wife: Shirley Bridges of Gainesville; daughters: Rhonda Serna of Krum and Jolene Bridges of Gainesville; four grandchildren; sister: Linda Carter of Gainesville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Tillman and Marie Bridges; and brother: James Carroll Bridges.
