Mark Steven Moster Sr.

July 8, 1953 - May 21, 2021

Visitation for Mark Steven Moster, Sr., age 67, of Lindsay will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home in Muenster. Mark was born on July 8, 1953 in Muenster to Lawrence Henry and Violet Faye (Paine) Moster. He fought a courageous battle against his illness the last few years. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 21, 2021 at his home in Lindsay. Mark spent most of his life as an oilfield worker and mechanic. He also worked many years farming and ranching around the Muenster area. He was an avid fisherman and loved the times he spent fishing with MJ. Through the years you could always find Mark playing gin rummy or dominoes at the VFW. And anyone who knows Mark, knows if there’s a dice table in heaven, Mark is front and center. The pride of Marks life was his son MJ and his grandson Cody. He had plenty of fishing tales to brag on about his boys. Mark will be truly missed by his family and friends. Mark is survived by his son: Mark Moster and wife Jessica and grandson Cody Moster of Saint Jo; sisters: Fran and husband Jim Admire of Nocona, Donna Gieb of Gainesville, and Rhonda Schmidlkofer of Lindsay; Brothers: Robert Moster of Nocona, Michael Moster of Lindsay, Wayne and wife Debbie Moster of Forestburg, and Ronnie Moster of Woodland; and many nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Violet Moster, brother, Charles Frank Moster: and nephew Nicholas Walter Moster.
