Frank Leon Stoffels

A Memorial Mass for Frank “Frankie” Leon Stoffels, Jr., age 63, of Muenster will at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Mr. Stoffels passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Frankie was born on May 14, 1962 in Muenster to Frank Henry Stoffels and Rose Ann Fuhrmann. He grew up in a big family with two brothers and many sisters. He spent much of his life close to home. He was always easy to find. Whether at the house he shared with his mother Rose, the farm and at the “RC” place. He attended Sacred Heart Church and went on to follow in his father’s footsteps through farming. Frankie’s life was a testament to the joy and wonders found in simplicity. He lived life on his own terms. Taking the days and backroads wherever they led to. He tended to cows, bailed hay, and loved the rhythm of Johnny Cash cassette tapes. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting under a shade tree, watching over the lands and enjoying the scenery. He did not care much for the fancier things, all he needed was his comfort and familiarity. You’d always find him in his signature look; a plain green t-shirt, jeans and Skechers. He loved to tinker and work with his hands. All his projects on the lands, from daily chores to his most recent pond project, were more than just work; they were reflections of his care, creativity and connection to the world around him. Frankie had a quick wit and loved a playful trick. Yet for those who shared time with him, his quiet care often shone through in unexpected ways and everyday moments. From sharing “Sodie pops”, enjoying a cookout, laughter, working a project or taking in the serenity of the land his thoughtfulness and small gestures were ever present. He taught those around him that a life well-lived is measured in joy, laughter and the attention we give to each day. He will be remembered for his humor, his love of the farm, and the unique mark he left on the lives around him. He is survived by his son: Eric Stoffels; daughters: Sarah and husband Travis Sicking, Michelle Stoffels, and Shawna Stoffels; mother: Rose Stoffels; sisters: Sherry Davidson, Melisa “Missy” and husband Darryl Hinkle, Yvonne Wolfenbarger, and Dayna Lutkenhaus; brother: Stephen “Chick” Stoffels; grandchildren: Damien Wesson, Aiden Sicking, Kamryn Sicking, and baby Laurie Stoffels. Frankie was preceded in death by his father: Frank Henry Stoffels; daughter: Anna Rose Stoffels; brother: Kenneth “Kenny” Stoffels; and many other beloved relatives.
